Eagles Nest Retreat provides a true destination wedding location. We have venue and accommodation options to suit weddings and elopements of up to 200pp. Our private hill top property with unparalleled views of Mount Roland, comprises of our stunning accommodation properties Nest I, II & III and as of July 2021 The Loft, which are booked out exclusively for accommodation or special events.
Many honeymooners also choose to stay in our retreats and our sites have been used for small intimate elopements, bespoke receptions, up to larger weddings of 120 or more. We provide 2 options for Brides. Choose one of our above packages with everything included or be an Independent Bride and we will provide the site and accommodation, you’re then free to arrange all the remaining details. Eagles Nest Retreat provides a beautiful and unique option for destination wedding seekers!

Nest I
Best suited to a small elopement of under 10 guests, this stunning building and courtyard area provide incredible mountain views and a stunning ambience. Small ceremonies indoors or medium gatherings by the orchard.
Nest II
Best suited for an intimate elopement or micro wedding of up to 20pp you can enjoy the indoors of this unique property with its 5 meter high glass wall facing the mountain views over the lake, or set up your ceremony by the lakeside and celebrate an intimate wedding in perfect serenity and privacy with your closest friends and family.
Nest III
Ideal for private intimate elopements, or perhaps an intimate ceremony on the hilltop in our charming stone amphitheater which can seat up to 100 guests.

Do you have any all inclusive wedding packages?
Eagles Nest Retreat has stunning locations and endless possibilities for your special day. So there is no need to limit your options. If you don’t see what you’re looking for in our available packages, then let us know. Our partner wedding consultants are available to help you put together what you’re looking for. What does your venue hire price include?
Our 63 acre farming property encompasses our luxury accommodation properties. When hiring our property for your wedding/elopement we provide the location and accommodation in one place! Please enquire for full details.
How many different venue options do you have?
We have various venue options. There is the Skyview Wetlands which sits central to all 3 Nests and shares our magnificent mountain views. There are also 4 properties, Nest I, Nest II and Nest III and as of June 2021 The Loft, which each provide unique venue opportunities. The option to have your ceremony in the garden by the lakeside or in the stone amphitheater is also available. There are many benefits to a Wedding at Eagles Nest Retreat not least of which is the freedom to design your dream event with the added benefit of hosting some guests in our accommodation you can enjoy your closest friends and family the next day at a recovery party.

Can we have a small elopement of less than 10 people?
Yes, we have been witnesses to such small, intimate events before, and welcome your proposal. The prices for intimate elopementst are included in the summary of pricing above.
Is there a maximum number of guests we can have?
Numbers greater than 100 guests can be organized by arrangement and a package customized.
How much notice do I need to give to book Eagles Nest Retreat for a wedding?
Because our accommodation can book out quickly, we advise you booking as much in advance as possible.
Do I need to pay everything up front?
We require a 50% deposit to secure your dates. This is a non-refundable deposit. This is based on an estimate of the number of guests you expect to have attending your wedding. The remainder of the fee is payable 30 days prior to your wedding.
What is your cancellation policy?
Date changes are not permitted.
Cancel anytime prior to 30 days before your wedding and your deposit is forfeited.
30 days or less prior: 75 % cancellation fee
14 days or less prior: 100% cancellation fee
